Privacy Policy

Information 

“Personal Information” is information that identifies you personally, such as your first and last name, address, telephone number, and email address. We collect and store the personally identifiable information that you have provided us via the email address listed on our website or when you otherwise contact us in person, by phone or email, with a question. We also collect your name, email address, telephone number and payment information when you make a contribution, either on our website through accredited payment processing services, at an event, or by mailing in a check. In some instances, we may collect personal information from you in ways not described above.

Use and Disclosure of Personal Information 

  • We will not sell, trade, or share your personal information collected on the website with anyone else.

  • We will not send you mailings on behalf of other organizations.

  • Larelève uses accredited and secure online payment processing services. We don’t have access to your credit card information, bank account numbers, or other account data sent through our processing services. Credit card payment information or checks mailed to us off-line is shredded once payments have been processed.

Changes to the Privacy Policy 

We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We reserve the right to not contact you about any changes implemented.

Library Users Policy 

Integrity is at the core of Larelève’s foundation. Accurate information is crucial to provide you with the best contents. Evidence for identification is required and failure to provide initial accurate information will forfeit your access to our library. Refer to Privacy Policy for further details.

Donor Policy 

Larelève assures discreet use of all information relating to individuals and organizations that have contributed, pledged or are prospects to contribute or pledge gifts to Larelève.

Larelève will not sell or share a donor’s personal information. Records of all private gifts, grants, pledges, and expectancies to Larelève are maintained by the accounting team. It is the responsibility of those who keep and use these records to protect the privacy of donors to the fullest extent, except when the donor’s approval has been granted to announce a gift, pledge, etc.

Conflict of Interest Policy – Board of Directors

Members of the Larelève Board of Directors are prohibited from accepting gifts, money or gratuities from the following:

  • Persons receiving benefits or services from Larelève;

  • Any person or entity performing or seeking to perform services under contract with Larelève; and

  • Persons who are otherwise in a position to benefit from the actions of any Board member of Larelève.

A conflict of interest is defined as an actual or perceived interest by a Board member in an action that results in or has the appearance of resulting in personal, organizational or professional gain.

Opting Out of Email Communications
